3rd Month In Loan Origination Training

Now that you are comfortable at the front end of a mortgage transaction now you must deliver on working with your underwriter and processor by delivering to them a fully structured loan with a plan that meets your customer expectations and a loan they qualify for. You must now focus on understanding how mortgages work.

The key to a successful loan transaction all comes down to matching what the borrower discloses to what they can prove.  The file will fail or succeed on documentation.  It’s the job of the originator to fully and completely understand what the customer wants to achieve and then determine the best way to structure the file for a condition free approval.  There are no secrets in mortgage origination.
